~Diary of a Haunting~

    Hello! It's another year so that means I have a whole new blog! For the stat of this blog, I'm going t be starting off with a nice horror book. I have never read this book, or even heard of it, so this blog is going to be my reactions throughout reading this book. If you're wondering what it is, it's part of M. Verano's Diary of a Haunting series, this part is possession. 

In my opinion, the book gets really interesting pretty fast and the way this book was going to go is definitely not what I was expecting. It's a really interesting book so far. I'm not one to like a lot of books, but the writing in this is just really unique for a novel. It's in the format of an actual blog, which is pretty cool. Anyway, time to get into the book!

    It starts off with a first person view of our main character, Laetitia. Laetitia always wanted to be a star, so she made a blog to represent her more divaish side of her. She gained traction because of her amazing singing voice and her great hair styling tutorials. One day, everything changes when she starts getting these bad dreams and she started to get really sick. It would get so bad to the point that she faints. She started to hate sleeping because of how graphic and realistic her dreams were getting, she could feel the treacherous pain, whether it was getting stabbed, downed, beaten, shot, literally anything.

   Once she tried to post about this to her fans, they started to call her crazy, annoying, creepy, no one would listen to anything she had to say. She tried to tell her best friend, she also called her crazy. She couldn't tell anyone what was happening and all her mom thought was that she was pregnant. It was getting so bad for her, she needed help. She didn't know what was going on, all she knew is that if this kept up she wouldn't be able to perform and become a start like she wanted, she needed this to stop.

    This is about all I read in my book right now, considering I'm only on page 61. I hope to read more and know what else will happen! I hope you guys will come alone for this journey!
